I am a freelance court-sworn translator/interpreter living and working in France, translating from French to British English (my mother tongue). I have been running my own translation business for over seven years.



I work on a regular basis with notaries, bailiffs, lawyers etc. in my area providing verbal and written translations of deeds (sales contracts, successions, mortgages, testaments etc.) and certified translations of official documents (birth and marriage certificates, court orders etc.) for government authorities, as well as with several translation agencies throughout Europe.



My other areas of expertise are tourism, transport (aviation and rail), as well as Health and Safety and Staff Training manuals.



In addition to my formal translation work, I also provide a service for non-French speakers who relocate or own second homes in France. This includes setting up contracts for water, electricity, telephone and internet and assistance with phone calls and administrative matters (registering for health care, re-registering vehicles, planning permission etc.)
