:: ACADEMIC BACKGROUND ::
After attending two years as a student of Foreign Languages and Literatures at the University of Bologna, I applied to get ESOL Certifications in English and I attended lessons for PET, FCE, CAE and CPE exams, all passed with flying colors. My linguistic skills come from more than a decade of studying along with working experiences in technical fields and a profound love for foreign languages.

:: IN-HOUSE EXPERIENCE ::
I worked for a company in industrial mechanics and the oil & gas business for more than nine years, employed in the purchasing department where I used to deal with foreign clients and suppliers on a daily basis. Aside from my job in purchasing, I was the company's official translator for techinical documentation and their interpreter in formal meetings with foreign clients and suppliers.

:: FREELANCE EXPERIENCE ::
As of March 2017 I started working as a freelance translator and developed solid skills in the following fields:

• Technical documentation (oil & gas, power generation, industrial mechanics)
• Marketing
• Electronics
• Cooking
• Social Sciences

I'm a SDL TRADOS 2017 user and possess basic knowledge of HTML.
