I provide Spanish- and Portuguese-to-English translation services, as well as English localisation services from my home on the windy west coast of Scotland. I am a native speaker of both British and US variants of English.

Over the last several years, I've translated for the Spanish public sector, private companies in the UK and US, non-profit organisations, international corporations and individual clients.

In addition to working in the fields listed above, I also have a somewhat niche specialisms in library and information science and breastfeeding/infant care, stemming from my experience in library work and volunteer role as a Breastfeeding Peer Support Helper. My work in libraries has spanned the education, health and public library sectors.

Having worked in front-line roles for many years, I am well versed in understanding and anticipating client needs, so excellent customer care is always at the heart of my services.

First-class marks received for Translation, Spanish Language and my Honours dissertation, which examined the linguistic adaptation of foreign films in Spain within a social context.
