Spanish term
una ciudad... ¡de cine!
Spanish to English
Art/Literary
Cinema, Film, TV, Drama
Looking for creative ideas, please! This is a slogan for an itinerary based on film locations in a city. The only translation I can think of for "de cine" that keeps the Spanish double entendre of being an amazing city as well as having to do with film is some variation on a "scenic" city. The problem is, I'm not sure the city is actually very scenic…
Any great ideas?
Thank you!

Comment: "Thank you everyone for your help. It wasn't the most popular suggestion but I ultimately chose this one because I like the sort of double meaning it conveys, because the city actually has appeared in several movie scenes, so it really is "straight out of a movie scene" (I added the straight myself, just out of individual preference)."

Note from asker:
Thank you for your answer, but I'm really looking for a way to keep the connotation of film in the English translation, since it's for a film-based itinerary through a city. |

(tour the town) straight out of the movies!
'location tours' might sound too prosaic as such for you

Coud be spiced up though, perhaps with a pun

A cinematic city!
It keeps the word play of the original while staying short and snappy.

the city that sets the scene!
Another idea (full of alliteration!).

: As the asker isn't sure if the city actually is actually scenic, this could be a good solution..

a city mise-en-scene!
just an extra thought to throw into the mix. There should be a grave accent on the first e. Cannot put that in as on my Ipad. Sorry.
or a film-set city though that feels a little clumsier to me
