Does anybody know if it is it possible to transfer a PDF file into a word document?
I have tried cutting and pasting the text, but the whole formatting was lost.
I need suggestions urgently...
Thank you!

1. If you buy the real Acrobat (not Acrobat Reader), you can save the pdf file in rft format.
2. If you buy Omnipage Pro, you can import the pdf file and save it for Word.
But in both cases, you still have to do some (re)formating work...
Good luck.
Alain

Just to mention that OmniPage isn\'t the only software that allows this. There are others, equally as good for the purpose and for less expensive.

The \"real\" Acrobat is the full version of the Adobe software, which allows reading, editing and making of PDF documents from any other document.
Omnipage is optical character recognition (OCR) software. That is, you scan the document (PDF, fax printout etc.) and allow the software to transform it to Word format. OCR software comes (or should come) with every scanner you buy.

If the text layout is simple (no tables and graphics) than the job is relatively simple. If it isn\'t, well... there is a lot of formatting work ahead of you.
