Hi all,

I received a file in the format *.ltc.

Do you have any experience with this format: which software created this file, what CAT tool is appropriate, is it necessary/appropriate with a GUI localization tool that can adjust the interface?

A sample of the structure when opened in a simple text editor:

name = DOMAIN
oem = all
en = "Domain:"
fi = "Domain:"
sv = "Domän:"
ee = "Domeen:"

PS. I googled fot LTC, and came up with this. Both seem very far fetched, and probably have nothing to do with my file format:

Text parsing tool Apr 20, 2007

You would need a resource editor (such as PASSOLO or Catalyst) with a text parsing tool.

Thanks Stephane,

We decided to write a VB script to extract the English source to Word, tag protect the external tags (tw4winExternal) and stick to Trados.

But I promised myself I'll have to learn Passolo/catalyst for the next time!

/Jan
