According to the Penguin Dictionary of Geology
Reverse fault: A fault with a major dip-slip component in which the hannging wall (bloque levantado o del techo) is on the upthrow side.
American Geological Institute Dictionary:
Reverse fault: a fault along which the hanging wall (Techo o bloque levantado o del alto) has been raised relatively to the footwall (piso, o bloque del bajo)
Reverse fault: A fault with a major dip-slip component in which the hannging wall (bloque levantado o del techo) is on the upthrow side.
