: Yes, 'follow through' = 'complete the entire routine of technique' for every shot. Need a common-usage term for this in Spanish, from shooting & other sports. Used literally most often in golf, where the actions after ball-contact affect shot accuracy.

En el tiro de precisión, tanto sea a blancos, hélices, platillos, piezas de caza, etc., es de particular importancia cumplir con todo el ciclo de disparo: toma de posición, toma de miras, respiración, disparo y confirmación del mismo. Esto se debe a que si el tirador se acostumbra a detener el ciclo antes que este finalice totalmente, corre el riesgo de hacerlo antes, y mover inconcientemente el cañón del arma antes que el proyectil abandone el caño, y dejar de adelantarlo en seguimiento al blanco móvil y así obtener un tiro retrasado y fallido, obviamente. ¡Suerte!
