French term

effacement jours de points

French to English Tech/Engineering Business/Commerce (general) Fr electricity rates
This is given in a list of insured operating loss risks, along with client/supplier default and delay penalties. I'm just wondering if it's not a typo (jours de ponts? en France).

That's all the context I have. Thnx for opinions.

Discussion

Parrot (asker) Dec 13, 2010:
Really sorry This was a scanned 1.5-page pdf that was essentially just a list. The headings are what I indicated above. In fact, the "e" in pointe looked like an "s".
Bourth (X) Dec 13, 2010:
Context Supplier of what? Client for what? I mean, if it's electricity, then there's every chance this should indeed be jours de pointe. If the supplier is providing battery-powered fluffy pink rabbits beating drums, we might have to think again.
Catharine Cellier-Smart Dec 13, 2010:
There's always more context Previous/following elements in the list in French could help

Peak Day Withdrawal

OVERVIEW OF ELECTRICAL ENERGY IN DECEMBER 2004
In December 2004, four "Peak Day Withdrawal for France" (EJP France) and one "Peak Day Withdrawal for the Western France region " (EJP Ouest) tariff option orders were issued (compared with three "EJP France" and one "EJP Western France" orders in December 2003);

Two options had been successively proposed to residential customers:
• the option named with the French acronym EJP (Peak Day Withdrawal) was made up of 2 types of days

Tarification EJP d'EdF
