quiero saber como se le llama a la reja del ascensor en ingles.. supongo que es esa que suele llamarse puerta tijera.. es de un cuento de Silvina Ocampo, muchas gracias!

If you're talking just about the bit that opens to let you out, then gate might be used. Grille is better if you're talking about any and all sides of what's sometimes called the "cage".
