Spanish to English Medical Medical (general) medical report
Can anyone advise on the correct translation of 'niega restos patologicos'. The phrase is found in the anamnesis of a hospital report after description of present symptoms. Would "Denies remains of previous illness" be a fair translation?

Bonilda We discussed 'anamnesis' in German-English very recently, and the consensus (including at least one contribution from a translator who is also a doctor) is that the word doesn't really exist in English. It was part of a compound German word, so I can't look it up and give you the URL.

Denies any other past medical history

This is short-hand for "niega el resto de los antecedentes médicos patológicos". That would include hospitalizations, allergies, accidents, illnesses, surgeries, etc.
