Spanish term

alc.

Spanish to English Law/Patents Economics Chile
This appears in a Trade Register statement, after a the seal of the CONSERVADOR DE BIENES RAICES Y COMERCIO.

As before, any help appreciated.

None too sure about context The title of the signatory indicates this is a combined Register of Deeds (or Lands) and Trade. Then, I've just seen the "M.S." (¿suplente?) sign "alc." below his seal at the end of everything.

alcalde

alc. seems to be a reasonably standard abbreviation for alcalde, and also seems to fit the context of your text.
