History

rovenance has the air of something coming from a given source but without the air of absolute certainty, hence attributable to. In other words, it can be traceable to church sources.
Provenance (from the French provenir, "to come from"), is the chronology of the ownership, custody or location of a historical object.
The primary purpose of tracing the provenance of an object or entity is normally to provide for its original production or discovery, by establishing, as far as practicable, its later history, especially the sequences of its formal ownership, custody, and places of storage. The practice has a particular value in helping authenticate objects.

In case of total certainty, one can say of "ecclesiastical origin."

Discussion
nie byłoby kłopotu - jeśli kontekst zawierałby - "o proweniencji"
Mam nadzieję, że Szanowna Pytaczka zechce wyjaśnic.
;-)
;-)
A, serio - chyba nie zaszkodzi, bo różne mamy records w parafii ;)
... sorry - miało być serio ...
proweniencja = «pochodzenie jakichś zjawisk lub osób»

Provenance (from the French provenir, "to come from"), is the chronology of the ownership, custody or location of a historical object.
The primary purpose of tracing the provenance of an object or entity is normally to provide <b?contextual and circumstantial evidence for its original production or discovery, by establishing, as far as practicable, its later history, especially the sequences of its formal ownership, custody, and places of storage. The practice has a particular value in helping authenticate objects.
