Discussion

TravellingTrans Nov 12, 2014:
@Henry wasn't directed at you, was meant for general perusal in response to the other answer so people would know that it is a set term and has a standard translation
Henry Hinds Nov 11, 2014:
CONTEXT Thanks, Traveling, but I do not see the asker offering any CONTEXT and that is the person who should be doing so.
TravellingTrans Nov 11, 2014:
"coeficiente de apuntamiento" is a whole term also known as coeficiente de curtosis

El Coeficiente de Curtosis analiza el grado de concentración que presentan los valores alrededor de la zona central de la distribución.

apuntamiento is basically "pointedness", in English it is a "peak coefficient"
Henry Hinds Nov 11, 2014:
CONTEXT Abundant original CONTEXT is required.

hardware alignment coefficient

A quick search showed that "apuntamiento" is frequently used for setting up satellite dishes--which I imagine is what the "tecnológico" is referring to. Could the coefficient affect the angle/direction/orientation at which you set up the satellite dish (or something along similar lines, like antennas)?
Peer comment(s):

neutral Neil Ashby : Not sure how aligning a satellite would fit in with power generation.

neutral TravellingTrans : coefficient of Kurtosis and peak coefficient are the same thing, and the Spanish for CoK is Coeficiente de Curtosis, you'll see this in my answer where I post: Un coeficiente de apuntamiento o de curtosis, specifically this case would be peak
