: Perfectly possible. Indeed, my flat in Spain has one of these, bounded by my property on three sides with the fourth being the property line with the next finca. Perfectly standard. (I can see it through the window as I write this!)

: The pozo de luz described here is a light well. See last photo and building plan.

Since the "linea quebrada" is in "cinco tramos", maybe the light comes flooding through between the sections.
