Spain/Ecuador. This term appears in a list of what appear to be conditions of liability for tax withholding at source. I'm looking for a definitive translation of the term, with special emphasis on how to render the "y solidaria" part.

Plenty of translations with "solidarity" out there, but that word often doesn't sit easily for me and I think this is better.
First, what is it? Here are the principles as set out in the relevant law:
"- La búsqueda del buen vivir y del bien común;
- La prelación del trabajo sobre el capital y de los intereses colectivos sobre los individuales;
- El comercio justo y consumo ético y responsable;
- La equidad de género;
- El respeto a la identidad cultural;
- La autogestión;
- La responsabilidad social y ambiental, la solidaridad y rendición de cuentas; y,
- La distribución equitativa y solidaria de excedentes."
The word "inclusive" is relevant to several of these (gender, cultural identity, worker involvement) and is used by a couple of big hitters. First, the EU:
"Lastly, the National Institute of the Popular and Inclusive Economy (Instituto Nacional de Economía Popular y Solidaria (IEPS) has been created under the MIES to articulate a new economic vision for inclusive growth with autonomy in developing a strategic objective."

I think "social" is better than "popular", but it's a moot point. That's the OECD's choice in its Country Notes on Ecuador:
"The economic axis presents a vision of a social and inclusive economy."

Ecuador aside, "Social and Inclusive Economy" seems to be a "thing":

| "Inclusion" is indeed a buzzword these days. Just yesterday I had to revise an article and the reviewer had specifically asked for further mention of the term and its relevance to the whole. The poor author however, didn't seem to understand what they were asking for so I had to spell out for her in Spanish. |

: I agree with you about "solidarity", but I don't feel your translation conveys a clear meaning. //You're presumably suggesting something like "social and inclusive economy entities". This sounds translated, and I don't think people will understand it.

Thanks for the comment, Phil. I disagree // No, I would suggest something like companies/organisations in the Social and Inclusive Economy sector. EPS is an institutional term whose integrity must be preserved, IMO.

I think we should bear the context in mind: it's not some airy-fairy policy document about making the world a better place, it's about tax.
Your job as translator is to give the reader a clear idea of what organisations are being referred to, and I don't think any of the three previous suggestions does this.
James's first reference says "cooperatives, mutual societies and community-based organisations", and I think this gives a far clearer idea of the meaning.
