Spanish term

Atendidas las cualidades...

Spanish to English Law/Patents Law: Contract(s) Marriage contract
This is a marriage contract from Puerto Rico. I'm struggling with "Atendidas las cualidades" in the phrase below, which appears as one of the later numbered clauses:

OCTAVO:-Atendidas las cualidades de los comparecientes luego de celebrarse el matrimonio, éstos serán responsables con su patrimonio propio, en cubrir lost gastos comunes en el hogar conyugal asumiendo estrictamente en partes iguales todos los gastos...

¿Un poco de ayuda por favor? :)

Having regard to the (altered) status/es/ ...

(Post-marital) status doesn't pluralz/se well, but may make better sense than capacities.

Having regard to the status/es/ of the appearers (the latter term used in Brookes Notary; UK) - that *altered in terms of matrimonial property regime* - immediately after the marriage had been solemnis/zed ...

Weddings and contracts are indeed 'celebrated' in Spanglish so the idea is highly ambiguous.

OK. Sara, My construction or interpretation is that - immediately before the wedding ceremony - the bride and groom had been separate individuals controlling their own property. Immediately after - pace Toni and the ProZ Costa Rican Attorney-at-Law who may come in on this one - atendidas means having taken a look at the (altered post-marital)status and land tenure of the appearers, each side will be personally liable, out of their own assets, for defraying (keeping down) the overheads in (emphasis different from 'of') the matrimonial home, taking on strictly in equal shares all of the expenses..
con su patrimonio propio, en cubrir lost gastos comunes en el hogar conyugal asumiendo estrictamente en partes iguales todos los gastos..
Note from asker:
Thanks, Adrian MM., Toni, and Robert. I guess part of my problem is I don't entirely understand what that part of the sentence means. :( Right now, I'm understanding it roughly as 'taking into account the status of the parties as soon as the marriage ceremony is concluded'. Based on your answers so far - and if I'm not entirely mistaken about the meaning - I'm thinking of going with "Having regard to the status of the appearing parties after the marital proceedings take place/after the completion of the marital proceedings, each person will be responsible..."
Peer comment(s):

agree Toni Castano : I think you´re right regarding "status", but wrong about "altered" (yes, I know, you put it in brackets) as this clause just reflects the situation of the appearing parties at the very moment of their marriage.

Thanks - the dictionary def. of luego de is después https://www.linguee.com/spanish-english/translation/luego de...
agree Robert Carter : Yes, or just "Given the status..." I think "altered" is implicit in any case. I also don't like "according to" at all here, despite the permissive attitude of dictionaries towards it, or is it just me?

Thanks & gracias! 'UPON READING' your comments, I tend to agree with your querying of the non-verb phrase of 'according to'. Otherwise, construing 'luego de' as afterwards (I researched years ago/meaning changed since?) is implied by your 'implicit' idea.
agree AllegroTrans : "altered" can be omitted methinks

Indeed, thx. Altered had been added merely by way of - ostensibly unsucesssful - explanation for the benefit of the asker who wanted further clarification.
