Se toman los 10 primeros datos de pesadas del ensayo “Control de volumen” y se realizan los siguientes cálculos.
(...)De no cumplir con dicho criterio se procede a tomar los 20 datos restantes se verifica si los resultados cumplen (...).
¿Cómo traduzco "datos" en estas oraciones? Gracias

My understanding is:
the first 10 items are weighed, and data from this batch is used for "volume control" by applying the following calculations:
If the criteria are not met, the next 20 are weighed to verify if...
'remaining' would work instead of next if 30 items are being made.
