MPC

Spanish to English Medical Medical (general) Pathology report - Lung cancer biopsy
The following appears in a pathology report for a lung biopsy for a patient being treated for lung cancer:
Diagnóstico:
Ganglios linfáticos (adenopatías grupo 7):
- Metástasis por carcinoma en 5 de 7 ganglios linfáticos aislados.

Respuesta a neoadyuvancia (MPC):
- Células tumorales (8%).
- Necrosis (0%).
- Fibrosis fibroinflamatorio (10%).

Can anyone advise me what "MPC" is intended to indicate in this context? Thanks in advance.

Many thanks Kathryn. This may be a better fit than "metastasis por carcinoma" in this context. I originally thought the the latter was not quite right in the context.
S. Kathryn Jiménez Boyd Oct 26, 2022:
Future Kudoz visitors: Miller-Payne criteria (MPC) Although it doesn't quite fit in this context somehow, the Miller-Payne grading system is an important possibility to consider if you're talking about "MPC" in the context of response to neoadjuvant chemotherapy.

metástasis por carcinoma

It's in the previous line.
Note from asker:
Hi Phil. For some reason I convinced myself it didn't fit after "treatment response". CLearly, that must be it though. Cheers.

Miller-Payne criteria

As per discussion entry. Again I'm not anywhere near sure because of the necrosis and fibroinflammatory fibrosis percentages in addition to the tumor percentage, but posting as a possible answer. Perhaps some of our colleagues can shed some additional light.
Note from asker:
Thanks again Kathryn. I think this may be the intended meaning. Let's see what the other views are.
