Spanish term

Complejo osteodiscal

Spanish to English Medical Medical (general) Spinal MRI report
Hola colegas:

Contexto:

Hernan Casasbuenas Jul 7, 2023:
This has more to do with the bone-disc complex It refers to the combination of the vertebral body (the "osteo" part, which is bone) and the intervertebral disc (the "discal" part.
This is not used widely in the literature.

Disc osteophyte complex

Dejo las referencias abajo :)
Note from asker:
Thank you Gabriela. I went down the disc osteophyte complex rabbit hole via radiopaedia, but it didn't match what the report was saying. Luckily the patient is not suffering from this complex.
Peer comment(s):

disagree Hernan Casasbuenas : The description of the report do not seem to relate to the pathological findings referred to in the Disc osteophyte complex.

disagree Stephen D. Moore : Spanish for "osteophyte" is "osteofito"
