Hi. I'm translating Poder Especial from Spain. In one of the passages about faculties, it says:
"solicite la liquidación de impuestos y recurra, en su caso, contra las liquidaciones que se practiquen incluso por vía judicial."
My try: ask for tax calculation/assessment and appeal for ongoing calculations/assessments.
I think here payment does not suit "liquidación". What do you suggest?

Surely you know that Spanish is very wordy compared to English. If you translate every word (and I'm sure you don't), the translation is unreadable.
