I would appreciate some help and suggestions to translate this sentence that can be found in a paragraph describing the audit procedures for a company. This section deals with the sale of a branch owned by the company.

"Hemos obtenido y analizado la documentación contractual de la transacción, con especial énfasis en el análisis de la transferencia de los riesgos asociados al negocio a fin de determinar el momento de registro de la venta. Asimismo, hemos recalculado los resultados obtenidos en la venta tomando en cuenta todos los aspectos relevantes de la transacción y **hemos obtenido soporte de los cobros*** recibidos por la compañía"

@soniagp A mi parecer, ‘soporte de los cobros recibidos’ por la compañía hace alusión a que los contadores o auditores han podido verificar que el dinero de la venta fue efectivamente recibido por parte de la empresa vendedora. Al comienzo del párrafo se menciona que han recibido documentación. Adicionalmente, el documento es una memoria consolidada.

De todas formas, si los recursos de la venta se emplearon en el financiamiento de inversiones o gastos de la empresa, es algo que debe estar reflejado al menos en el siguiente párrafo o en otra parte de la memoria consolidada. Es necesario que Sonia comparta esta información con el foro.

'transferencia de los riesgos' no necesariamente implica financial distress.

Everybody has been blindsided here!! It means the financial aid from the branch sale has been put to good use elsewhere in the company.
