I would say totsaot does not perfectly fit the bill here. Webster refers to sequela / sequelae as "an aftereffect of disease or injury" and "a secondary result : CONSEQUENCE". A more acurate Hebrew translation would therefore be tguvat levay ro totsaat levay or even hashlakha. In my opinion Totsaah is just too general here.
