"Failures of the rod eye arrangement connecting the shutter (clamp lock) cylinder to the clamp piston have been experienced. We contribute these failures mainly to side loading as a result of poor lubrication of this swivel joint. On existing machines, this is a manual lubrication process that should be performed once per month (see machine manual – maintenance section)."
