There are pre filter before the air receiver and after filter, after the air receiver.

DO we call it after filter or post filter or what else?

Thanks All. If Debrite is right in US, " I have seen more reference to 'after' filter in US variant", I would think after filter is ok.

I can't determine which one to agree with, Marek or EdithK. In general terms, we use the word "post-filter" to denote the second/last filter. But in some Air Purifier, "trap filter" was written in the manual book.

Thanks Debrite Simple, there is a process chart which contains air compressor, filter, air receiver, filter, pipeline to the equipment. The original language detrmine the filters as prefilter and after filter. I like the word post filter more than the word after filter. Note sure which word is the right one.

post filter or ex filter

to the best of my knowledge you can say post filter and ex filter - both are widely used

downstream filter

"trap filter" could also be what you are looking for, i.e. taking out the remaining contaminants after the air receiver, IMO it is simply "another" or a "second" downstream filter but I would not use postfilter or the like
