symptomology versus symptomotology

English Medical Medical: Health Care
we are trying to describe the presentation of an indivdual with a psychological disorder as well as chronic pain.. which term is correct? or is there a difference?

We are writing a document for submission to lawyers, doctors, court in Ontario Canada. The report is medical legal in nature.

Synonyms symptomology and symptomatology are synonyms, with the latter being much more commonly used.
