Hello,
I am translating the CV of an oil and gas industry professional, context:
Chief Geologist and Geological Specialist with the associated J.O.B.
I have found several meanings for the acronym (http://www.acronymfinder.com/JOB.html), could you help me to choose the good one?
Thank you.
Regards,
Ilinca F.

J.O.B. [Translators Note: possibly Joint Operation's Board]
I would leave it in the acronym and then give a translator's note such as the one that I wrote, so that your reader(s) know that you have made an educated guess as to the meaning of this acronym.
Mike :)

Note from asker:
thanks for your help, as for the other participants, my first suggestion was the same yes (Joint Operations Board), and on the Romanian topic translators suggested me to post the question here to have the opinion of a native speaker. |

Discussion
I think Ilinca herself has perfectly well understood our well-intentioned attempts to help, and I'm sure she hasn't taken them amiss. :-)
So, as I have thought it could be: Joint Operations Board, do you have a better solution?
