German term

Multiquantenmikroskopie

German to English Tech/Engineering Physics
This is from a patent for an optical microscopic imaging device (it's the only time the word crops up):

"Des weiteren besteht häufig doe Notwendigleti zur Ausrichtung des Mikroskops relativ zu weiteren, stationären Geräten, wie z. B. die Konfokal- oder die Multiquantenmikroskopie an ortsfesten oder stationären Objekten nicht oder nur beschränkt ausführbar"

There are a lot of googles for Multiquantenmikroskopie, but only one each for "multiquantal microscopy" and "multiquantum microscopy", both from German sources.

Apparently this procedure was developed by the Max-Planck-Institut - does anybody know what thismethod is called in ENglish?

TIA!

Discussion

John Bowden (asker) Jul 18, 2007:
Sorry! The last question I asked was for a translation about timber houses I was doing yesterday - I must have forgotten to change it! (and sorry about the typos in the question too!)
Steffen Walter Jul 18, 2007:
Should be grouped under "Physics" IMHO - what do you think, John?
casper (X) Jul 18, 2007:
Is the term correctly classified under "Electronics/Elect Eng /Timber houses"?
