ok, well, typically when we talk about pulsante a tenuta, it could be water-proof or tamper-proof. Do you know what provides the "tenuta"? is it some kind of an "OR" (o ring) or gasket? if so, I would still say "water proof"

without more context I cannot be sure, but, I think that they mean "a tenuta d'acqua" in which case, it means "water-proof button"
