From the discharge report for a patient with a "gammy" knee:

Recommendation:
"Deambulazione con l'ausilio di due anti-brachiali, ginocchiera di cartone indossata e carico parziale/progrogrossivo sull'arto operato fino al prossimo controllo;"

From what I can gather it seems to me a modified "zimmer" frame.

Any suggestions?

It might have been an "forearm walking frame or walker"
