Malay term

"...saya merujuk perkara di atas dan surat pejabat ini bil. (62) dlm. xx/xx"

Malay to English Bus/Financial General / Conversation / Greetings / Letters
"...saya merujuk perkara di atas dan surat pejabat ini bil. (62) dlm. xx/xxxx/xx/x bertarikh... "

The xx's are a reference number of another letter being referenced. I am guessing that dlm. is an abbreviation of "dalam," however what is the meaning of "bil." ?

Note from asker:
Sorry, this "perkara" is simply a "matter" or "subject" and not a lawsuit.

"...with reference to the above matter and your with the ref. no. (62) dlm. xx/xx"

This is the normal form used particularly in government and legal correspondences.

Malay term (edited): \\\"...saya merujuk perkara di atas dan surat pejabat ini bil. (62) dlm. xx/xx\\\"

"... I refer to the above-mentioned matter and our letter vol. (62) in xx/xx

"bil" is short for "bilangan" in which case you can translate it as number or volume.
