Russian to English Bus/Financial Accounting
I have 2 rows in a chart. One is накопленный приток денежных средств, which I am assuming is cumulative cash flow. The other is Сумма дисконтированных поступлений. Is this the same as Is it safe to assume that cash flow is meant here also?

Many thanks!

The common accounting term for накопленный is accrued. Discounted cash flow is another fairly standard concept related to the time value of money, however, this being in Russian and all, are you absolutely, positively sure from the bigger context that
The Misha Apr 1, 2009:
they actually do mean cash flows and not revenues?

In this country, accountants do not speak of in- or outflows...

Types of Cash Inflows and Outflows
Operating activities
Cash inflows:
From sales of goods and services...
Etc.
Cash outflows:
To suppliers for inventory...
Etc.

neutral The Misha : For Chist's sake,Aleksey, hy are you citing an Australian accounting reference? In this country, accountants do not speak of in- or outflows, they just use positive numbers and numbers in brackets for negatives. No words needed, hence no one put is this way.
