approach and landing systems

"автоматизированной" does not need to be translated. In airspeak, "systems" are the means of automation. "Automatic approach and landing" would mean approach and landing capability without pilot intervention, which exists for airplanes only, not for helicopters.
Peer comment(s):

neutral Alexander Demyanov : I doubt it. What about WWII aircraft systems?//Good for you. I actually agree that "automation" is redundant in this particular case. I just don't agree that in aviation, "systems" == "automation". I don't drive planes but had translated tons on avionics.

Even today, the automation we are talking about in this case is merely a convenient indication telling the pilot where to fly. BTW, I am a pilot, I do fly planes in my spare time :-) ;; In aviation - no, but in this case - yes

computer-aided homing and landing systems

instead of 'computer-aided' you can use 'computer-based', 'computer-controlled', etc.
Peer comment(s):

disagree Anton Konashenok : they are not really computer aided, everything is much simpler
