Preparation for an Art Exhibition
This is the size of the pictures for arranging them before an art exhibition. It is important because all the pictures are combined with the same idea and are grouped according to the artist`s creative idea.
There will be 2 rows of canvases: upper and lower.
How is it better to indicate the whole thing in English?
Thank you in advance!
Экспозиция состоит из картин верхнего и нижнего ряда. Надо показать их размеры. Как написать:"картины верхнего ряда 120x160; картины нижнего ряда 800x1000"?

Maybe paintings rather than pictures, which they presumably are as you say they're on canvas.

Discussion
If it were abroad, I would have converted mm in inches.
When you translate "120x160":
1. do you have to indicate mm/cm (is it optional)?
2. is it incorrrect to translate 120x160 as "120mm x 160mm"?
3. do you convert mm into inches? Is it optional? Plainly wrong?
Sorry, for wandering off topic
