instant and postponed lottery draws

Instant draws are those where you buy, say, a scratch card, find the number you have drawn and know at one whether it is a winning one or not. Postponed draws: you have to wait till a specific date, when a draw is made somewhere, and you see it on TV, or read about it in the paper, or are notified by letter.

Thank you.
agree GaryG : In the US, it's "drawings"; also, I haven't heard of "postponed" lottery draw(ing)s. I think they're just "regular" in the US (once or twice a week)
