I think I understand now it must refer to the ownership of the company ( shares, private, public etc ), it is connected to the abbreviation.

no connection with ОКЭД - it must Общероссийский классификатор экономической деятельности - just a statistical code given to an industry, usually I translate 'удельный вес' as 'share', and then the total of these shares would make 100 %.

I wish I knew Zamira but the document just has the term and then some boxes where you fill in a number and then a percentage sign. Above the term is the abbreviation OKЭД and then another series of boxes with 5 numbers in, I'm thinking that there is some connection now perhaps?

Thanks... ...for the link Simon. Still stumped as to what the term means though, I initially translated it as specific weight/gravity but just couldn't accept that this had anything to do with taxation. Strange.
