Thanks TechLawDC The context is the opportunity for the company to take part in a joint venture - sorry I did not make it clear when asking. New Opportunity is capitalised because it is a defined term in the relevant contract. So far, I labelled it simply a New Opportunity Proposal, and I think that is sifficient, but if there are better sounding suggestions, I would be grateful.

How to acquire new capabilities. You can purchase a company that has the capabilities, or you can hire people for a new department that provides the capabilities. Or you can purchase a machine that provides the capabilities. These are 3 examples. I have in fact seen this use of возмошность in the past. I am not saying that "acquiring new opportunities" or "acquiring a new opportunity" is wrong, even though it sounds (they sound) unidiomatic to me. I am offering "capabilities" as a strong alternative. More context would be needed.
