I have searched the internet but this term does not appear!!

The context is : El 13/02 presenta episodio de disnea y taquicardia, inicialmente orientada como posible TEP, pero dado la mejoría clínica, Ddímero negativo y ausencia de signos de sobrecarga derecha en ECG, se desestima realizar nuevo YAV torácico (paciente además alérgica al contraste yodado), por lo que en caso de nueva sospecha se plantearía gammagrafía de ventilación/perfusión.

It is CT. In this case CT is always done with contrast.

It certainly looks to me like they hit the wrong keys and it could be TAC torácico (thorax CT scan).

"TAC torácico" makes sense for an imaging test of the chest that would require iodinated contrast. I'm leaning toward this being a typo.

YAV --> TAC ? the Y is just to the right of the T, and the V is just to the right of the C ... our writer could have been a little tired when writing this

Y related to "Yodo?" Could the "Y" in the "YAV" refer to Yodo (iodine) perhaps?
