Hello, dear Trados users,

I have an urgent problem, and that is an error message which destroyed my happy thought that I have finished work.
As I wanted to Save Target As (in Trados 2014), the following message appeared:
Error: Could not load file or assembly "Sdl.FileTypeSupport.Framework.Adapter.Framework1, Version=1.0.4996.28525, Cuture=neutral, ...etc'' or one of its dependencies. Operation did not complete successfully because the file contains a virus or potentiall... See more
Hello, dear Trados users,

I have an urgent problem, and that is an error message which destroyed my happy thought that I have finished work.
As I wanted to Save Target As (in Trados 2014), the following message appeared:
Error: Could not load file or assembly "Sdl.FileTypeSupport.Framework.Adapter.Framework1, Version=1.0.4996.28525, Cuture=neutral, ...etc'' or one of its dependencies. Operation did not complete successfully because the file contains a virus or potentially unwanted software. (Exception from HRESULT:0x800700E1).
As I already read on other threads, the 0x800700E1 error is related to Windows 8. Please help me save my work as the deadline knocks on the door. Thank you for considering my post. ▲ Collapse

Anti-virus and back-up programs Jun 21, 2014

Try disabling your anti-virus and any back-up programs that are running, and then save your work again.

I've found that Carbonite, an on-line back-up system, stopped Studio from saving my files when I switched to Windows 8. I'd never had a problem with it in Windows 7.
