Usage of the safe touch function
1. After the separation, close the needle clamp.
2. Place sterile gauze pad over the puncture side and exposed needle shaft.
3. Hold the gauze in place, without exerting pressure on the puncture side.
4. Pull the cannula out of vein and apply pressure on gauze as normal, to achieve haemostasis
5. After removing cannula out of vein, hold the wings with one hand.
6. Press with index finger and thumb of the other hand the **** chequered grip **** area at both sides of the housing in order to release the locking mechanism.
8. Pull the cannula into the protective cover until a click confirms the complete locking of the needle in the protection.
