French term

adaptive

French to English Medical Medical (general) neurostimulators
This is part of a blog, so much of the language is incorrect or abbreviated.
Context:
'Boitier rechargeable St Jude avec identification de position. Est electrode Medtronic 8 plots avec mise en place d’une fiche adaptive pour le raccord electrode/neurostimulateur.'
I'm not sure if this 'fiche' is some sort of record or more like a sim card, perhaps....?

adaptor plug

Heavens, you're not wrong!

I reckon, givne the surrounding context, that what they are really talking about is a « fiche adaptatrice » — something to adapt one type of electrical connection to another.

As ever with electrical stuff in FR<>EN, 'fiche' OUGHT to be plug — but depending on the exact form it takes, might be a socket too! But I think in any case 'adaptor plug' is sufficiently general to cover all bases.

I've just realized that probably ought to be 'adaptEr'
