inglés term

is prevented of

inglés al español Jurídico/Patentes Derecho: (general) Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement
I have never encounter this term in this context. Could it have the same meaning as "liable for" or "is advised of"?

Here is the sentence:

"If disclosure of confidential information or trade secrets, the Employee acknowledges that the Company may initiate legal and judicial actions against him in order to repair the damages that such disclosure of information may cause. The Employee expressly agrees that the Company may take any available action to enforce this agreement and that the Employee ***is prevented of*** the irreparable loss or damage that any violation of this prohibition may cause to the Company and its clients."

Thanks for your help!

agree John Rynne : it's Spanglish. The writer clearly thought "prevent" is the English translation of "prevenir"

:) Saludos.
