I don't believe there is a term for this in English. All personal guarantees are off-balance sheet liabilities. A fideiussione is an unsuecured guarantee as enshrined in Italian law, usually given or accepted by banks.
The attiva fideiussione is where you borrow money from the bank and a third party, your mum of brother for example guarantees it with a promise. From the bank's viewpoint that is an asset, but from your brother's it is a liability.
