The Subsystem, if defined as a Node, shall assert a major fault (BGM and STN) or minor fault (other nodes) with beam, kV beam (except for BGM, COL and MVD), and motion (except for BGM and XI) impact if real-time communication is lost.

The fault impact is specified as appropriate to the power supply value being monitored.

Collision Motion Impact

If the Node's version/serial number is not compatible with its compatible list, or if the Node's status message size is not correct, then Supervisor shall raise an active major fault (BGM and STN) or active minor fault (other Nodes) with beam (except for KVD and KVS), kV beam (STN, KVD, KVS, CCHU, CCHL and XI) and motion (except for BGM and XI) impacts.
