Paper Trial
Juzgado Cuarto de lo Civil de Proceso Escrito del Poder Judicial de la Ciudad de México : Civil Paper-Trial Court no. 4 of the City of Mexico Judicial Branch ('Judicature' or Judiciary).
I think Paper Record, rather than a egenral Court of Record for civil, criminal or courts martial cases, is a viable alternative.
Otherwise, I fail to see how a ProZ Glossary entry for juzgado de primera instancia en lo civil as a 'common pleas (non-regal) civil court' can fit into any answer.
Florida/USA : n bench-trial cases, courts will sometimes agree to employ a paper trial procedure in which they reach a decision based only on a *paper record*, dispensing with a live trial.
Florida/USA : By contrast, rulemakers should be more willing to authorize—and judges should be more willing to use paper trials at the final fact-finding stage of a dispute.
