Yes, thanks for your input Robert. I have seen those types mentioned on the Solex websites, and also considered them. I think though that the three points in the slide refer to the way air pressure is regulated, and I'm not sure those types reflect that idea. I've copied and pasted those three types on the Solex website in a note to self, and will go back to it.

Have you looked at pneumatic comparators (or Solex air gauges) as described in English texts?

Question remains as to which ones are which.
If I had to hazard a guess I'd say:
por estrangulación = flow type
por obturación directo = back pressure type
por obturación indirecto = differential type

I found 'restriction' in a couple of documents on Solex comparators, but I don't know whether that's 'estrangulación', or 'obturación', or neither.

My take I like "indirect/direct /shutoff, but don't really know enough about the field to post an answer.

Although I think after looking at the comments below, perhaps 'shut-off valve' might be better here instead of 'throttle'

Yes, I did consider 'obturation' and 'sealing', but can't find anything related to pneumatic comparators when I do a search with these terms.

Thanks for the link Phil, I consulted this website too.

I translated it (tentatively) as 'throttle' - I suppose like the throttle in a car engine. I think it's right according to the websites I've seen.

1. Hand pump

Uplift the hand pump and press it down repeatedly to generate vacuum and pressure.
2. Lead screw

Increase pressure by turning the lead screw clockwise, decrease pressure by turning the lead screw anti-clockwise.
3. Reverse valve (positive/vacuum)

Press the button to switch between positive pressure and vacuum. (Push for positive pressure calibration and pull for vacuum).
4. Relieve valve

Have to turn clockwise to close the valve before pressure generation, and slowly turn it anti-clockwise to release system pressure.
5. F-adjust valve

The valve is equipped for precise adjustment of pressures. Turn clockwise to increase pressure and anti-clockwise to decrease.
6. Plug

Screw it up when not in use. It prevents dust and other matters entering the port.
