Context I would agree with Andres-Larsen if we are talking about actual craft classes here, of which there are MANY within the Waldorf School system. Also, plasticering might be actual plaster, gypsum work, not actual ceramics. However, I wonder if this term in this context might be interpreted in a more abstract form, as a pedagogic method. You have the context, so I just wanted to put it out there. Again, there is not enough context.
Also, please note that hovedfag in Steiner/Waldorf schools are the two hour period at the beginning of the day. This is segmented into periods of several weeks, so that geometry might be covered the first two periods every morning (without break) for two weeks, and one year's curricula is covered that way. Our geometry teacher was a local artist and 8th grade curricula was covered by us building Kepler stars in cardboard.
