Danish term

afringing

Danish to English Tech/Engineering Mechanics / Mech Engineering Trains
Afrigning af forerrum

(I can't find the definition, but after searching I think it has to do with what is called in French "oscillations parasites" that is unwanted changes of voltage. Is afringing the fact to prevent them?
Proposed translations (English)
3 final call
3 ring-off; ringing off

Can you give correct spelling? Is it afrigning or afringning? If afrigning the term in English is stripping?
