English term

wound-in

English to French Tech/Engineering Aerospace / Aviation / Space simulator
It is important to set the depth of draw of the mirror such that points at the edges are expanded out beyond the minimum vertical field of view tolerance with no adjustment wound-in on the DBR. e.g. if a +21.5° elevation point (on the grid) measures less than 20.5° (minimum vertical field of view tolerance) no amount of DBR adjustment will pull the point within specification.
