Man tā vien šķiet, ka šim terminam ir pavisam cita nozīme, proti, "null file" ir tukšs fails, kas nepieņem uz to nosūtītos datus. Tātad radusies tukša faila kļūda. Sk. definīciju.

nav datnes kļūdas
"File" oficiālais tulkojums ir "datne" (apstiprinājusi terminoloģijas komisija), lai gan tautā izlatītāks tulkojums ir "fails"
